After completing my medical degree in 2007, I went on to specialise in Medical Oncology from the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, Italy in 2012. Following my specialisation, I completed my Palliative Medicine MSc (pass with merit) from King’s College London, and most recently specialised in General Medicine from the FMH.

Since 2018, I have been working as a Palliative Care Registrar for the Oncological Institute of Southern Switzerland, where I’m mainly responsible for inpatients on the palliative care ward. In addition, I’m involved in teaching activities for palliative care nurses at SUPSO and SSSCI University, Switzerland.

After graduating from Medical School in 2003, I underwent Specialisation Training in Medical Oncology at the University of Florence, and completed my Degree of Specialist Medical Oncologist (Hons) with 70/70 for my thesis ‘Clinicopathological and biomolecular prognostic and predictive factors in gastric adenocarcinoma: a review of the literature’. The following year, I achieved my European Society of Medical Oncology Certificate.

I have worked as a Clinical Research Fellow, first in the Gastrointestinal and Lymphoma Unit and then in the Prostate Cancer Targeted Therapy Group. Since 2011, I have been a Specialty Doctor working at the Royal Marsden Hospital (Sutton Branch) in the Prostate Cancer Targeted Therapy Group.

I am a Senior Medical Oncology Registrar in London. I have completed an MSc in Oncology and am currently enrolled in research during my PhD looking at novel combination therapies in lung cancer at Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris.

I have successfully passed my MRCP SCE in Medical Oncology and the European ESMO examination in Medical Oncology in 2019. I have a particular interest in clinical trials reinforced by the EORTC MCCR course and am actively involved in publications.

I am a medical oncologist working in the Breast Unit of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London. I gained my medical degree from the University of Milan (2009) and completed my specialist training at the University of Milan and National Cancer Institute of Milan (2015). Currently, I am working on a research degree (MD[Res]) within the Breast Cancer Research Division of the Institute of Cancer Research of London, focusing on different aspects of the care of common malignancies in older adults.

I have an Italian Board Certification in Medical Oncology, am a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, and am also on the UK General Medical Council Specialist Register (Medical Oncology).

My main clinical interests are breast oncology, thoracic oncology and geriatric oncology. My main areas of investigation are comorbidity, comprehensive geriatric assessment, quality of life and prediction of treatment toxicity in older patients with cancer.

I have authored several publications and book chapters in the fields of geriatric, breast and thoracic oncology. I am President-Elect of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG), and have served as Co-Chair and Chair of the Young Interest Group of SIOG. I also serve as Co-Chair of the European Cancer Organisation Inequalities Focused Topic Network. In 2019, I received the Arti Hurria Award at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium for my research on the use of chemotherapy in older patients with early breast cancer.

I obtained my Medical Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece Medical School (2004) and completed my specialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2011). Following my specialty completion, I sub-specialised in reproductive gynaecology and gynaecological oncology in the UK and Germany.

Additionally, I have obtained an MSC in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the University of South Wales, and an MSc on Female Reproduction from the University of Athens. I also hold a PhD on intrauterine growth restriction and association with insulin from the University of Athens.

Since 2011, I’ve worked as Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist in Nicosia Cyprus, and I am an Associate Professor at the University of Nicosia Medical School where I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

My research interests include biomarkers for ovarian cancer screening, HPV infection in cervical cancer, endometriosis biomarkers and polycystic ovarian syndrome, as well as application of technological advances in delivering medical education.

I am a Consultant Endocrinologist at the University Hospital Wales. My clinical interests include hypogonadism, growth hormone deficiency and obesity. I have published over 100 peer-reviewed publications and my research interests include the application of novel technologies in delivering medical education.

I have an established reputation in medical education and in particular online learning, having been the founder of OnExamination.com. I have also been involved in establishing training courses for weight management in community pharmacy.
